Faire wear and other goodly garb –
Foxes Period Costumes has over 40 years of experience providing historical costumes to faire participants, theme characters, and period dance ensembles. (We’ve been doing this since 1983.) Additionally, first-hand wearing experience goes into each and every garment. We understand the abuse that Rennies just put their garb and how miserable an improperly fitted pair of bodies/stays/corset can be. Our costumes can and have been seen wandering the pathways and stages of numerous venues ranging from the Grand Dame of all Faires, The Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire to the Northern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire, Bristol Renaissance Faire, the Texas Renaissance Faire, the Crossroads Renaissance Faire, Trade Winds Faire, Radford University’s Highlander Festival, Shakespeare on the Lake Festival, Riverside Dickens Festival, to name but a few.
Period Wedding Attire –
We also provide Medieval, Renaissance, and Victorian Wedding attire.
Special Commission Costumes –
In addition to historical costuming, we can assist you in creating many other types of special costuming or Cosplay needs from time and space for you and/or your favorite stuffed animal — Doctor Who (it seems like we’ve always got a scarf on needles), Outlander, Starfleet, Square Dance, Belly Dance, Halloween, and Christmas pageant attire. (Heck, we’ve even been known to occasionally whip up a Daisy Kingdom® Dress for that special little princess in our lives.)
Our Philosophy and Basic Custom Pricing Information –
Read our manifesto on Custom-Made Costumes, what it takes to get one made, how to pay for it, and why you should consider having one.
Of course, nothing speaks better of our custom work than hearing straight from the horse’s mouth. Read our Client Testimonials.
. . . . we also blog about selective projects to help give our friends,
family and clients (both current and prospective),
an example of what we put into our costume pieces.
